Does Your Cat Have This Weird Habit? [PICTURE]

When my wife told me about this I thought she was crazy. As a matter of fact, I still think she's crazy. But she was telling the truth.

Now let me preface by saying that we keep a pretty clean house. Certainly not hospital or restaurant kitchen clean, but pretty tidy. So, not only is it weird that the cat does this, we have no idea where the hell he's getting these from.

As you'll in the picture below, our cat brings rubber band/hair tie "offerings" to its food bowl. Not only that, he insists on always have one inside the bowl.

So how about it? Have you ever seen anything like this before?
