Drink The Drink That Makes Me Happy During The Holidays

As you probably know, I owned a wonderful little bar for a bit. I had to let some lovely people take it over so I could move onto a bigger business venture, but man I had some fun.

So the question is, what does a guy drink who can drink anything he wants? Well first, let's get those big questions out of the way. I had to quit Tequila. It made me crazy. Sure, it shouldn't but if I ever drunk dialed you, it was under the influence of Tequila.

Next came "whiskey out da bottle". This one is still a "thing" for me. It gets me in trouble every time, but I still like a couple gulps now and then (who REALLY sips whiskey?).

I've always been a sucker for sweet drinks. There ain't no shame in a big frozen daiquiri (okay, actually I feel doofy as hell drinking one of those). White Russians are still a favorite around the holiday season.

I gave Mai-Tai's, Blue Hawaiians, and many others a try, but my favorite drink is my own concoction. I've searched drink menus and recipes all over and I can't find anything that is right on the money with my favorite.

So, you ready to party?  Try this.  Pour at least an ounce and half to two ounces of Vodka over ice, then pour half cranberry juice and half Sprite in the glass. Serve with a lime wedge on the rim. I have no real name for it, but I guess we'll go with "Spranberry Vodka" or "Pops Special".

It's a great drink for the holidays. You'll be happy in no time.
