I had to get out and run some errands I'd been putting off all week this afternoon.

One of the items on my list took me to southwest Lubbock past Frankford over towards Milwaukee.

In my daily commute and day to day activities, I generally stay east of Slide, so imagine my surprise at just how many new restaurants and shops have been built in the past six months and are now open for business.
