One thing about my Woody, she is hard-core when it comes to her favorite bands and makes sure she has connections to get her their new albums even before they are released. With that being said, it should come as no surprise that she has had a copy of the new Five Finger Death Punch for about a week.

As with any die hard fan, she has already made up her mind about the new CD, and according to her this is true to form FFDP.

Any hard-core FFDP fan knows it's not just Ivan's deep voice and raspy growling that bring a unique sound to the band, it is also the thumping drums combined with Zoltan and Robert Hook shredding on guitar.

While you can clearly still identify the classic FFDP sound on this record; there are several new elements mixed in. With guest performances from such notable names as Rob Halford, rapper Tech N9ne, and Maria Brink of In This Moment lends her voice to make this latest effort from Ivan and the guys unlike anything we've heard from them up to this point.

This new album has it all, heavy riffs, hard hitting ballads, and LL Cool J ripping it up on the truly crunchy cover of 'Mama Said Knock You Out'.

According to the Wood Maker, this is the best Five Finger Death Punch to date!

Of course, we know Ivan took a immediate liking to Woody the first time they met, and she had informed me long before they made it to the big leagues that he was "adorable."

She does refer to him as ex-husband number three.

Five Finger Death Punch will be back in the Hub City on October 26 for the FMX FreakFest.

Wrong Side of Heaven Righteous Side of Hell is in stores now.
