Here's an idea--You can do your Christmas shopping at The First Friday Art Trail where you'll find one-of-a-kind gifts and put a little coin in the pockets of some local artists at the same time.

The First Friday Art Trail returns tonight down in the Lubbock Cultural District with a variety featured artists.

Peachtree Gallery will feature pottery from Claywood Studios and Scott Ferguson along with new work from Austin artist Debbie Carroll.

The 5 & J Gallery will have music from Spivey and the art of Alvaro Perez at 5th and Ave. J.

The Lubbock Municipal Garden & Arts Center will host the Annual Star Cross Angel Art Show from 5-10 p.m. at 4215 University Ave.

Tornado Gallery will show off the creations of artist Andrew Hagan and jewelry pieces on the corner of 19th and Buddy Holly Ave.

Of course, you have to make a stop at Emma's from 6-9 p.m.(1106 Ave J) for local art and the bueno Tex-Mex.

Get out tonight and check out the what local, regional; and national artists have to offer for that perfect present to place under the tree this year.
