Five Simple Steps to Being Less Dickish Online

I guess I'm doing an on-going series here, except now it's MULTIMEDIA! I got a great response to the first one, so I'm going to tackle a topic I know REALLY well now.

You may be doing things online that you don't even know are dickish. This certainly isn't an exhaustive list, but it's a good start towards being better on the web.

5. Assume everyone has friended their grandma or somebodies kids unless you know differently.

4. Instead of trolling a post, screen cap the post and put the comment on your own page.

3. Be careful you don't put up half-written posts that worry people.

2. Remember that when writing post that people can't hear your tone of voice or see a smile or frown on your face.
