I've said it before and I'll say it again, the 90's weren't specifically about the "grunge" sound, it was about ushering a bunch of new bands of all types in while pushing the burnouts out.  When you think about it, relatively few of the bands that broke through in the 90's could be described as "grunge".  The Black Crowes, Chili Peppers and Tool weren't grunge and neither was this crazy act known as "Southern Culture On The Skids".

You can blame "Camel Walk" on us.  We were the first in the nation to start playing the track and it caught on from there.  The band followed up the track with "Soul City", but their biggest moment may have been in one of the opening scenes of the horror classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer".  In the movie all of the characters go to a wild ass party and the song "My Baby's Got The Strangest Ways" rocks the whole scene and the band is shown several times.  They continue to appear on video games and movies, most notably one of my new favorites "Goon" starring Sean Micheal Scott (Stiffler from the American Pie Movies, rent is NOW on Netflix).

Here's the trailer to "Goon" in case you're interested in that.
