The Florida State Alumnus and attorney who shot three people at the school’s Tallahassee campus attended school at the Texas Tech University School of Law.

Police officers fatally shot 31-year-old Myron May in the early hours of Thursday, November 20, 2014, outside of FSU’s library after May reportedly fired at officers.

One of May’s victims is listed in critical condition, with another being listed stable and a third released from the hospital completely.

According to May’s Facebook profile, he attended law school at TTU and The Associated Pressreports May was licensed to practice law in both Texas and New Mexico.

Authorities believe May was suffering from a mental illness and said he had recently quit his job and was on some type of medication. His Facebook profile was filled with mostly Bible quotes and he was a member of a group called “Targeted Individuals International”. Whose describe the group their on Facebook profile as:

The Associated Press reports that students were notified to take shelter via their campus alert system and that police responded to the report of gunfire eliminating May within two minutes. More than 30 rounds were fired by or at May.
