FMX Big Purple Party-Watch For Random Rock Stars

The FMX Big Purple Party is the shakeout, the hand picked bands from Rocklahoma and some other shows that happen at this time of year.  Some bands weren't picked because they didn't fit the bill, they plan on coming back later, they're on "vocal rest that day" or sometimes it's things as small as they weren't positive they could get all their equipment here or to the next destination on time.

This year there happens to be A TON of bands not only in Lubbock, but passing THROUGH Lubbock this Sunday. This will definitely be a people watching event and I can promise you that if you see somebody in the crowd "that looks like that guy from that band", well it probably is. Not only that, the guys actually playing like wandering this huge events. They can "get lost in the crowd" and just enjoy the show.

Wanna be smart?  Buy a sharpie.  It's that simple.  Buy a permanent marker and put it in your pocket. The worst that happens is that you have a marker.  The best is, that you get your ticket signed by someone cool.  We know of at least one band that could have headlined outdoors and one that could have headlined indoors that are in town that day.  We can't promise that they won't just get drunk and stay in their hotel rooms, but we can tell you it's likely that they'll be wandering around the show.
