FMX Hits Two Incredible Highs — No. 1 in Lubbock + 30,000 Facebook Likes

We hit two fantastic highs this past month, and I wanted to take a chance to say thank you for all of the support.

First off, I can't really quote ratings to you. It's not proper, it's confusing and I actually don't think I'm licensed to do it in this way.

Let's just say FMX is number one (again) among everybody that isn't a kid or a senior citizen. So, to reverse that, I could say "number one among adults that don't pee themselves" (just joking!). It's quite an honor after 35+ years to be so widely accepted in this town. We are killing it, and we're really grateful to our friends and advertisers.

As you may know, FMX is "two sides of the same coin." We have our online component (website, Facebook page, Twitter and YouTube channel) that compliments, but isn't necessarily the same, as our on-air product. In one of those areas, our Facebook page, we recently hit over 30,000 likes. That's a really big number for any page.

When you put these two things together, the FMX brand has become a serious force to be reckoned with. We don't even really compete with just radio anymore. We're more of a multi-media outlet. We put an incredible amount of eyes and ears on everything we do.

All of this is thanks to you guys, and we really do appreciate it. We'll keep rockin' and writin' as long as you guys keep listening and reading.
