FMX Is Number One Again

It is with great humility and gratefulness that I wish to thank each and every one of you for making FMX the number one rock station in Lubbock again.  Our win streak is  a perfect 66-0 or the last 33 years. During that time, many have thought they were going to "take us down" or be "the next big thing" and once again, they've all fizzled.

So this victory is once again yours.  It's crazy, just yesterday I was talking about how we've had to "feel our way around" the new ways of social media. Meanwhile on-air we've had to deal with more radio stations in town and all the online choices that are out there now.

There are many people out there who will tell you radio is "over". This isn't true.  Bad, or weak radio is over. Radio stations that are insulting and uncreative are over. Radio stations that aren't responsive or take their listeners for granted are over. We try to work harder for our listeners and in return they keep us part of their day.  So from The RockShow, Rooster, Driver, Full Metal Jackie, Simon, Guapo and even our photo guy Wood, thank you once again for your support. We're going to do out best to continue to earn it.
