I put together a simple video blog. The theme was simple "if this soldier was your son, you'd want him brought home, and given a fair trial".  Well apparently vigilante justice is what a lot of people want.

I hate putting my ugly face on blogs, but I want people to know that I stand behind them. I also like fooling around at Home Depot.

Everyone seemingly wants to extrapolate whatever personal feelings or agenda out of that one simple theme.  Sorry if that hits a nerve, but it is what it is.  There's a bazillion "facts" floating out there or "points to be made".  Well, you guys can enjoy making them on a political website.  Apparently I'm an "idiot" for pointing out the universal truth, that you'd want your kids home and you'd deal with the consequences later.

Evidently this story is a Fox News talking point or something. I don't care. I don't want to see your pasted links on "what happened" or which party supported this before or after. Many like to say that "the cost was too high". That's for you guys to debate with someone else.  I could spend all day making points on either side of this issue. It doesn't matter. I avoided all of that by sticking with the point. If you read anything else into the issue, that's on you, not me.  I actually had one guy threaten to "bring down our network" because he was going spread the story around. I still can't even tell which side of the argument he was on.

Maybe you can figure this out:

You're network is about to go down, extremely fast, because of what of one of your ignorant and idiotic employees has said about PFC Bowe Bergdahl, the veteran community of lubbock will be sharing this vastly...with the community of lubbock... Although the employee stated that the following comments do not portray KFMXs stand point, he posted his personal views on a business website... That's something everyone knows not to do.. I personally will be sharing the story of your idiotic employees in hopes to bring light to the situation.... and hoping that it will be the downfall of this idiot as well.

Here is my response:

Evidently you don't get to understand the concept of "blogs". They are very much the personal opinions of employees. The concept of the blog is clear and I stand behind it: If he was your kid you'd want him back and given a fair trial. In the meantime, share away! We love our servicemen and we hope they know we'd do anything to make sure they return home safely.

So let's end this with one of two choices.

a. I would want my kid brought home for a fair trial

b. I would want my kid shot on sight because he's probably a deserter

Now, don't tell me I'm "missing the point", this is my blog, and this is the only point I wanted to make.
