Foo Fighters Recording Eighth Album

The Foo Fighters are officially back in the studio putting together tracks for the band's eighth studio album and first since 2011's Wasting Light.

Wasting Light will be one insanely difficult album to follow up, but if any band could do it, it'd be the Foo.

No word on when the new stuff will be released, but if the band is recording the tracks now, we could see it in the later stages of this year or early in 2015.

The band will also be up north later this week playing the pre-Super Bowl bash with the Zac Brown Band. After the festivities, the studio work will probably be first priority.
