Football is back! Preseason action was the highlight of my Sunday night, as the Pittsburgh Steelers squared off against the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL's Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

The Minnesota Vikings did the majority of the scoring, accounting for two touchdowns in a 14-3 over a Steelers team that played a lot of youngsters and inexperienced pieces from the get go.

The Vikings allowed a lot of their younger players to get in on the action too, but not before Teddy Bridgewater had a solid 5-for-6 drive totaling 44 yards. The Vikings might just be a snappy team on offense, and they looked it tonight. Adrian Peterson's return might make this team a viable contender in the NFC North.

Pittsburgh simply couldn't get it rolling tonight, but Landry Jones did a fair job in leading the offense along. Drops and fumbles certainly didn't help, but Jones himself didn't give up a turnover throughout the entirety of the game. This team will certainly look a lot better when stars like Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown step on the field.

The first taste of football came and went quickly, but fear not, because more preseason action begins this week on Thursday and runs through Sunday afternoon.
