According to his former bandmate Matt Sorum, Izzy Stradlin is not planning on attending the Guns N’ Roses induction ceremony at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on April 14.

GN’R's career has always been filled with drama, so it’s no surprise that their entry into the prestigious Rock and Hall Of Fame has also been a soap opera. Drummer Steven Adler had to apologize after calling the current lineup “hacks,” and former GN’R guitarist Slash has done several interviews about the induction — the latest of which he claimed that Axl Rosehates his guts.”

In an interview with the VH1 Radio Network, Sorum reveals that Slash told him Izzy Stradlin was not planning on coming to Cleveland for the festivities.

Even current Guns N’ Roses members are unsure what’s happening with the hall of fame induction. Guitarist DJ Ashba told Loudwire Radio, “There’s actually been zero talk about it … I have no idea. I’m kind of anxious and interested to see what goes down that night. Either way, I’m sure it’ll be fun.”

Can Slash and Axl put aside their longtime animosity for one night? Steven Adler told us that he hopes so. “My grandmother always said, “Time heals all wounds.” Slash and Axl are one to each other. It’s not like one of them slept with one of them’s wives or anything — and even that’s forgivable after a while. There is no reason to be upset.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on April 14.
