Former Texas Tech basketball stud Andre Emmett has been on an absolute tear in his first year playing in the BIG3 basketball league. After being taken with the second overall pick in the 2018 draft by 3's Company, Emmett has been a scoring machine for his team, and it was no different in their last match up.

Emmett and 3's Company defeated the 3 Headed Monsters in a one sided affair by a final of 50 to 28. Emmett would go on to score 25 points in front of his hometown crowd of Dallas, including this dagger of a 4-point shot that would all but seal the win.

Emmett played for coaching legend Bobby Knight at Texas Tech, where he finished as the second-leading scorer in school history and fourth all-time in Big 12 history. Emmett twice led the Big 12 in scoring, earning All-America honors in 2004 and winning the 2004 NCAA Slam Dunk contest.

Through the first four games of his BIG3 career, Emmett averaged 11.8 points per game. However over the last five games, he’s averaged 21.4 ppg. Emmett finished fourth in the league in scoring, sixth in rebounds, fourth in assists and second in steals.

You can catch Emmett and 3's Company vying for the BIG3 Championship this Friday which you can see on FOX beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
