Friends of the Lubbock Public Library Book Sale at Mahon Library 9/21-23

Have you ever been to a Friends of the Lubbock Public Library Book Sale? Did you see someone with an entire cart, smelling the old books with glazed over eyes? That was me. I'm obsessed.

The FPL Fall Book Sale is going down beginning this Friday, September 21st (for members, you can join at the door) and open to the public Saturday and Sunday. Trust me, there will be PLENTY of wonderful books to chose from no matter what you're tastes might be- cook books, sci-fi, westerns, art books- you name it, they probably have it. There's also books for kids, graphic novels, audio books, DVDs, etc etc. And it's all nicely organized by a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers.

Prices are a bargain, even in the "better books" section. And all the proceeds go to our libraries, so it's like your paying yourself for the books. Cash, credit and checks accepted- happy shopping!
