I do like like looking up the Native American Names for the moons.  I got started when people started confusing the name of the moon for how the moon was going to look.  For instance the "Pink Moon" had more to do with the stuff growing on the ground than it did with the color of the moon.

This Saturday night it's the "Full Buck Moon" and you hunters probably already know where this is going.  Bucks begin to grow new antlers at this time of the year.  It's also called a "Thunder Moon" in some places due to frequent thunderstorms in the month.

Next months full moon celebrates fish and corn.
