Gigantour Was Everything We’d Thought It’d Be and More

From Death Division to Megadeth, the bill was absolutely spot on. A hot July day with screaming guitars, rambunctious bass lines, thunderous drums, and piercing vocals was the serving that we all so delightfully dug into yesterday.

Easily the best performance of the night had to go to the headliner. Megadeth’s sound overall was just so heavy and so crunchy. Black Label Society put on one hell of a show, but in retrospect, didn’t every band? I can’t think of one bad performance all afternoon.

Megadeth hasn’t sounded THAT good in a very long time, so it was especially pleasing to hear just how well those guys are doing. Talk about tight, the pocket those four dudes were in was just phenomenal.

Here’s looking forward to the next one on down the line…
