Global Marijuana March Event Scheduled for This Sunday in Lubbock

It's kind of fun to make fun of Marijuana Marches and whatnot until you realize it's still OK for police in Texas to take EVERY offender, no matter how much they have, straight to jail.

How crazy is it that two states over there's something that's 100 percent legal, but if you have it in Texas, they can throw you in jail and ruin your life?

Maybe it's time to take a stand. More people need to speak up, especially those who don't use marijuana but have no problem with people who do.

Hub City Norml will give you a chance to march this Sunday, May 6th a 2 p.m. The march will take the group from 18th and Quaker Ave. to the courthouse. Yeah, it's symbolic and very important. The group plans on celebrating afterward at The Freaky Tiki Tavern.
