Independence Day is coming up and besides hot dogs and hot dogs, many people like to enjoy a side of corn. Whether it's on off the cob or on the cob and being placed on the grill. While corn is delicious, is it healthy for you?

Brenda Duby, Corporate Dietitian for United Supermarkets, joined me today to talk about the benefits of corn. According to Duby, corn actually is a good source of Vitamin B. It can help with cholesterol which is great. While it's high in fiber, it does contain carbs so if you are like me and watching your carbs, watch out!

According to Duby, as long as you eat corn in moderation, you should be fine. In today's visit Duby also gave some different suggestions as to how you can use corn in different recipes.
