Guns N’ Roses to Play El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium in 2017

One of the biggest bands on the planet, Guns N' Roses, will play a venue just a few hours from Lubbock, Texas.

Guns N' Roses announced several new 2017 dates for their "Not in This Lifetime" tour Monday morning, including two Texas shows: September 6, 2017 at El Paso's Sun Bowl Stadium, and September 8 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The latter looks to mark the end of the band's 2017 North American tour schedule.

September 6 is a Wednesday, so if you're making the drive from Lubbock, Midland and other nearby cities, you should probably take a day off of work and/or school on Thursday, September 7. Go ahead - put in the request now. We're sure your boss/teacher will understand.
