Apparently the only way you could see the new Halestorm video was to go to Rollingstone.com.  Guess what?  Too soon.  People were PISSED. On the thread that I was on the prevailing sentiment was "love you guys, but I am not going to rollingstone.com".

So, the video has been YouTubed because this was well on it's way to being a disaster for a great band that doesn't deserve to be tied in with Rolling Stones played out attempt at publicity.

People are still incensed at Rolling Stones cover image of the Boston Marathon bomber and they we're not letting their love of Halestorm get in the way.  I'll also tell you that I think someone "cooked the books" to make it look like it didn't happen.  The YouTube video claims it's been posted since 8/1, but I couldn't get it to come up 20 minutes before I wrote this article.

Anyways, let this be a lesson to everyone.  Be careful when you make a deal with the devil.  As for the video, I love Lzzy, but didn't another band recently shoot one of those "here's us as 80's rockers, grunge rockers and us now" videos?  Also, what about that Jager product placement?  I know a girl has got to pay her bills, but come on, this song first got popular on Glee.

Guys, we love you. We know that Lubbock was your first ever big festival show. We're giving you a pass on this one, but please be more careful in the future.
