Don’t Live Life The Half Ass Way

I saw something that really stuck in my craw the other day, and it's quite common around these parts. It was a very typical, very poor attempt at being politically correct.

So supposedly the Westboro Baptist Hate Group has decided to protest the Tech/Baylor game because the schools "promote homosexuality".  Okay, let's get this out of the way...WHAT?  I kind of missed the memo on this one.  Then again, this is not the issue here.

The issue I want to address is the local religious leader who said to the effect of "..I don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle, but these people are wrong....." .  Well, way to take a stand.  So you agree with what they think, you just don't agree with them making signs?  You think it's "against your religion" but you don't think they should march around and tell people about it? I guess what this person, and many like him are saying is "We feel exactly how they feel, we just don't want it advertised".

Listen, you are welcome to think whatever you think about this or any other topic.  Just pick a side and go with it.  You're not doing either side a favor by couching your words in politically correct terms.  The best way to get run over is to stand in the middle of the road.
