So today I was sitting here with Gunner spending Father's Day watching the ace, and just hanging out. As we sat here we got to talking about my dad; Charles Norris Driver (Charley, or Coach Driver as he was known to many.

As "G" and I talked about dad, I realized how much we take the love and support we get from our parents, many times until it is too late to thank them for all the sacrifices they make for us. From time to time as kids we think our parents are among the dumbest humans on earth, and let's not even go how embarrassing they can be with some of the things they say and  do around our friends.

Now that I am a parent, I realize exactly how hard it is to be a dad, and just how many times my dad was right, even though at 18 I could never imagine I'd ever admit to such a thing.

With that said, Dad I love ya! Happy Father's day to all the dads out there, and to all the kids, go tell your dad thanks and that you love him regardless of how embarrassing or dumb you think he is right now.

"G" and I "googled" my dad and came across his obituary, thought I'd share it with you all. Check it out then leave me a (and your dad) a note about one of your favorite memories!
