Have Valentines With Your Fur Baby This Weekend

We all know that our pets are quite often the loves of our lives. This weekend you can celebrate that special relationship.

Maxey park will be hosting an event this weekend where you can just drop by with your pupper. It's called, "My Furry Valentine".  There are all kinds of things for you and your doggie to take advantage of including paw print crafts, a doggie kissing booth, a selfie station, a doggie cookie decorating station and much more.

There will also be an adoption event happening at the same time. Several organizations will be bringing puppers by who are looking for forever homes.

The event takes place from 10 to 1 and it's pretty much "come and go" so you can visit whenever you like. Maxey Community Center is at 4020 30th street.
