Hellyeah Rock Hellpop 2016 at the Lone Star Pavilion [Photos]

It's always great when Hellyeah brings the party to town. We have a history with Vinnie Paul, and Chad Gray has been a regular visitor as well.

Hellyeah specializes in one thing live, and that is brutal. They remind me a lot of The Ramones. When The Ramones played, there was just a constant pummeling of similar tempo punk rock. With Hellyeah, it's a near non-stop assault of brutal metal and hard rock.

Make no mistake, Chad Gray and Vinnie Paul are the stars of the band -- the two building blocks. But co-founder Tom Maxwell and new members Kyle Sanders and Christian Brady definitely hold their own live.
