Well, the cat came out of the bag in a weird way on this one. The Hellyeah show on March 4th is actually the 36th FMX Birthday Bash.

We've always said that the Birthday Bash is more of a party, a reunion, a gathering of the tribes than any regular concert. Being able to celebrate with the boys in Hellyeah is going to make this one helluva time.

I guess we have to address the previous Birthday Bash announcement, but that one is simple to figure out.

Papa Roach/Of Mice and Men were slated to do a whole tour together, and we reserved a spot for them in Lubbock that was going to be this year's Birthday Bash. Unfortunately, Of Mice and Men singer Austin Carlile had to leave the band due to health issues. And even though the band decided to continue on with Carlile, the tour kind of fell apart.

There's just too many upsides to having this show as our Birthday Bash. For the first time ever, the base ticket price is cheaper than ever. It had always matched our birthday year (for example, 35 years=$35). With this show, the base price on a ticket is a very affordable $22. Those tickets go on sale at Ticketfly.com starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20.

Having this show at Wild West is a no-brainer, too. They have always been great hosts to us and the advantages are awesome: No parking charge, no traffic jam when you want to leave, plenty of restrooms, lots of variety at the bars, incredible sight lines to see the bands, tables for those of us who want to see, plenty of room to move around and more.

Opening up the show will be Sons of Texas and The Crowned. This makes it an all-Texas bill, and we think that rocks.

The bands are booked, the t-shirts are printed and we're pumped for another great year. Thank you so much for getting us to our 36th year!

Oh, and make sure to keep scrolling down, because we've got a chance to win a four-pack of tickets to the Birthday Bash below.
