Help Fight Leukemia And Lymphoma With The Firefighter Stair Climb

One of Lubbock's finest firefighters will be traveling to Seattle in a time raced up 69 flights of stairs. I think I'm about to faint at the thought of it.

So what is 69 flights of stairs? Well that's 1,311 steps and 788 feet of vertical elevation.  Oh wait, there's more.  They're doing it in FULL GEAR and it's being timed! Holy moly that is a crazy task.  One of Lubbock's own, Adrian Barajas will be in the competition. Now it's one thing that this guy wants to give himself the jimmy legs from climbing that much, but he is doing it to raise funds for the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.  You can make a pledge to support Adrian's climb right here.
