Holy White Hounds Slice and Dice the FMX Freakfest [Photos]

When I heard that the Holy White Hounds would be one of the bands on the bill for this year's FMX Freakfest, I knew it was going to be one special night here on the South Plains.

I don't know if it's something in the Iowa water, but Holy White Hounds out of Des Moines proudly carry the flag of many exceptional bands that the Hawkeye State has spawned.

Thankfully, the band did not disappoint one bit. Holy White Hounds delivered the goods big time and continues to build on the success of their radio single, "Switchblade."

The band put on a powerful and sometimes raunchy performance, drawing laughs from several off-color jokes. A highlight for at least one audience member was when singer Brenton Dean sang her "Happy Birthday" in the middle of their set.
