How Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ Helped Otherwise Decide to Become a Band [Interview]

Our bros in Otherwise took some to visit the FMX studio before their show in Lubbock Sunday night (Feb. 22). While they were here looking through some of the songs that we had, they were pretty surprised to see a song that helped them come together as a band.

I am a huge fan of bands that take on a cover that might not be expected from them -- especially when they knock it out of the park with something very cool.

Otherwise drummer Corky Gainsford and guitarist Ryan Patrick told me a pretty cool story about how Adele's hit song "Rolling in the Deep" played a huge part in Otherwise coming together as a band and helped Corky cut his teeth at producing a track.
