How Do You Spend A Rainy Day In Lubbock?

Well this is a problem that we have about once a year; how do you spend a rainy day in Lubbock?  We often make fun of the fact that "people don't know what to do when it rains here", because it is such a rarity to have not only rain, but a full day or so of it. Some of this is justified too because Lubbock doesn't really have the drainage to deal with a long rain. This gives us flooding in low lying areas and some dangerous driving situations.

I know my plans were altered drastically last night. I'm not afraid to get a little wet, but I wasn't prepared for an "all-nighter".  I am going to plow through and get my work done on Nightmare On 19th Street, but the rest of the day will be devoted to watching horror movies in the dark.  I can't think of a better way to spend the day.  Some of you will hit the video game console and others will still try to get the smoker out and do your best backyard tailgate you can in preparation for tonight's Tech game.
