I think I learned an important lesson. For the longest time I just "unfollowed" the people I didn't want to hear from on Facebook. It never occurred to me that they were just "lurkers" and/or "spies" at that point, just waiting for a chance to say something crappy on my feed.

One of the problems I had was, I never took the time to find out how to delete these lurkers once they were hid from my feed.  Well, it's actually really easy. Heck, the first thing I found out is that I accidentally hid three people I didn't want hidden.  The second thing I found out was I had about 50 useless folks lurking in the background of my feed. I personally think it's an honor to be on someones feed, and these people no longer deserved the honor.  So let's get to it with graphic #1!

See that little dark blue arrow, I've circled?  Hit that for another menu screen.

#2. Now click on the tab that says "News Feed Preferences".

#3. Clock on "People". It will then tell you whether you have "unfollowed" somebody or if you are currently "following somebody".  Just use that box to change that preference on that friend, or do what I did, just click on the profile pic of the "unfollow"s and delete them so they can no longer lurk in the background of your page.

This is a great skill to learn to protect your privacy and to even check and make sure you're getting the content you want to get. Now go out there and be awesome to each other!   Oh, and if you're of a like mind, you can friend me here!
