I can't believe it, but this weekend, in the midst of 70+ degree temperatures, I drove past another five foot hump of snow in a parking lot. This sitting snow has added to the damage in parking lots and city streets.

Who hasn't felt that moment of panic when you hit a pothole? For a split second you don't know what has happened. You don't don't know if you've been hit, or if your wheel is going to fall off or if your about to be swallowed up by a sinkhole.

The recent snow with is freezing and unfreezing, it's expanding and shrinking makes for a plethora of potholes. The slow melting snow contributes to erosion and degradation of roads.

We have no shortage of road damage in the Hub, so how do you make sure the ones that are bothering you? Well, as the old saying goes, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". The first step is letting the city know you have a problem.  Lucky for you the city has an online form that you can access to request some service.  You can click here to report a problem. It looks like you'll have to register to send a message, but it's better than hitting the same old pothole every day.
