HURT Gives New Life To Pandora’s Box [VIDEO]

J.Loren Wince/Hurt

A few weeks ago I told you guys about a cool opportunity to pick up some cool swag from our buddy J. Loren Wince of HURT. I have to tell you, looking at the number of hits on that blog tells me you guys enjoy the music these guys put out just as much as we do, and that is awesome!

In that last blog I told you about the guys driving from Houston to The Hub in an old piece of crap van that kept breaking down, just to do us a favor and open the GNR show for us. It’s hard to believe that was just a little over a year ago.

Now the guys are working on a more permanent solution for future tours, rather than renting vans or renting tour buses (at one point the boys were traveling around in Lynyrd Skynyrd’s old bus, nostalgic and cool, but also pretty expensive with the way fuel prices are these days).

And with a name like HURT for the band what better touring vehicle than an ambulance? Yes, I am serious, and from reading the blog this thing is going to be one bad ass form of transportation for the guys to travel in from coast to coast.

This isn’t going to be your average touring bus either, not only will “Pandora’s Box” provide the band a reliable way to travel from town to town, it will also be a mobile recording studio, a mobile home complete with a kitchen, a lounge area that will also double as sleeping quarters for the band while touring.

There are so many cool things going on with this project it would take me several blogs to tell you everything, so instead of me telling you head on over to HURT1331.com and check out everything that has already been done, and keep up with everything that is in the works.
