If Mama’s Happy, Daddy Get’s Lucky

You all know the saying "if mama ain't happy, nobody's happy." I can attest to that one for sure. Don't get me wrong, I have learned that in most cases when mama "ain't happy," it is usually because someone she loves is acting like a total ass head.One of the biggest issues around our house is how date night seems to revolve around station events, remotes, shows, etc. in the majority of cases this is not a huge deal, except when mama wants some true one on one alone time with her big daddy.

This weekend I took advantage of that knowledge and made plans to take mama to Canyon to see the musical Texas, and let me tell you the end result will have me smiling for the rest of the month just thinking about it.

If you have never seen this play let me encourage you to go, something about the beauty of the canyons and nature, and being outside, all alone.... NICE!!

We had dinner, then went on a little "private" tour of the canyons while we waited for the show to start. Once the show started so did the rain, it was AWESOME!

The food was great, the play was excellent, SCORE one for daddy!
