Iron Maiden will release ‘En Vivo!‘ on March 27 in Blu-ray, double DVD, double CD and digital download form, so there truly is something for every type of headbanger and their viewing preferences.

The two-DVD version will be released in thoroughly metallic, limited edition style. It will be housed in a Collector’s Steel Book and also released as a double vinyl picture disc. Having already revved up excitement by unveiling the ‘En Vivo!’ performance of ‘Blood Brothers‘, the band has issued a trailer for the aforementioned limited edition configuration.

The first few seconds of the trailer offer a 3D look at the packaging before launching into footage from the Chilean concert, which’ll make you feel as if you are front and center at the Maiden gig with singer Bruce Dickinson sweating all over you. The split screens offer dynamic, multiple perspectives of the show, including what the gig looks like from the perspective of both the band and their rabid fans.

The most astounding visual element of the trailer came in the form of a gigantic version of Maiden mascot Eddie, who appears onstage during the band’s performance of the track ‘Iron Maiden.’

‘En Vivo!’ was filmed on April 10, 2011, with Maiden shredding in front of 50,000 fans at the Estadio National Santiago during the Round The World in 66 Days leg of The Final Frontier World Tour.
