Iron Maiden Might Make A Sixteenth Record

Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris once stated that Iron Maiden's last record would be the bands fifteenth album 2010's "Final Frontier." Harris would later recant that statement by saying the band was open to making a sixteenth disc.

In a recent interview with Talaforum.se, Bruce Dickinson revealed that  ”In addition to upcoming tour plans, the band to record a new album which, if all goes as planned, is scheduled for release in 2014.”

Only time will tell if there will be a new studio record anytime soon.

Maiden will join Megadeth for seven tour dates over eleven days in the US which will kick off in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 3.

The Maiden/Megadeth tour will make a stop in Austin, Texas on September 10.
