Is ‘Jurassic World’ Kid Friendly?

The huge Summer blockbuster hit is "Jurassic World" and I am very stoked to see it for myself. I do have a question to those of you have seen it. My boys are 9. Are they too young to see the movie?

The boys have been bugging me about seeing the movie, but I am not sure if they can handle it.

They love dinosaurs and they talk about it them all the time, but I don't know if the movie is kid friendly.

So I gotta ask the parents out there: have you let your kids watch "Jurassic World"? How did they like it? Let me know if the movie is too intense or has over-the-top violence.
