For the past four years, Woody and I have made it a point not to miss the Pumpkin Trail event put on by the city. The first year we went was just for the kids to get ideas on different ways to carve their jack-o-lanterns for Halloween.

But, within the first five minutes we had all forgotten that we were just hoping to get a few ideas and were finding ourselves amazed by the number of awesome displays.

This year, we may even have a friendly little family competition to see who can come up with (and carve) the best jack-o-lantern, and then donate them to be displayed at this years event.

If you have never attended the Pumpkin Trail, let me encourage you not to miss it this year, and if you are like us and have attended in the past why not add to the fun by making your own submissions.
