You don't have to live under a rock to know that Lubbock is in the midst of drought, and with the temperatures already hitting the 90's during the last few weeks of March it does not really seem like there will be any relive coming any time soon.For months we have been hearing the city will be moving to a stage 2 drought restriction, well today is the day guys.

keep in mind city officials say they will not be giving any warnings just issuing citations, so before you water your yard be sure you have checked to see what day the city has assigned in order to keep from having a costly ticket on top of that water bill!
