Jacoby Shaddix Of Papa Roach Set To Have Throat Surgery

As I reported to you last Tuesday (8/21) Jacoby Shaddix, was diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal cord and will undergo surgery to correct the problem.

Jacoby, broke the news over the weekend, that the surgery was planned after Papa Roach withdrew from the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival.

According to Shaddix, he felt there was something just not right with his voice towards the end of recording for the new record "The Connection" that's due out on October 2nd.

Following surgery, Jacoby will be laid up for at least two months, and will be forbidden to even talk during the healing process.
