Jake’s Cafe to Hold Benefit Show for Dani Mendoza, Victim of Automobile Accident

Dani Mendoza is rock royalty here in Lubbock. Not only is she one of the greatest bartenders to ever live, her support of the local rock scene is invaluable.

Dani also happens to be an incredibly nice, genuine soul who is friends with all of us here at FMX.

Dani was injured by a vehicle on August 5th, 2018, which shattered her pelvis and lacerated her bladder. Luckily, she's now out of the hospital, but must endure much more physical therapy before she'll be able to work again.

Because of the plates she received in her pelvis to repair the fractures she will be receiving at least three months of physical therapy help her learn to walk again.

You can help Dani out by rocking out at Jake's Sports Cafe (5025 50th St) on Friday, October 5th:

Since she will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time we are hoping to raise money for her bills and living expenses.

Dani's contribution to the local rock scene is invaluable and her dedication and hard work for the bands are immeasurable. We want to give back by contributing 100% OF THE RAISED MONEY to Dani's recovery fund.

Performances will include Feathergun, Wicked County Road, Wake The Weary, and Indego.
