Jeff Gordon Drives It Home At Kansas

Chalk it up as the 89th win for the four-time champ, Jeff Gordon. With a face race car all night and plenty of worth competition in the ever-present Kevin Harvick, Gordon had a recipe for a real race on Saturday night in stormy Kansas.

After a small rain delay, things got underway for a sold out and very loud Kansas crowd. Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski had very fast race cars and Gordon joined that good company through the later stages of the race.

Kasey Kahne, Joey Logano, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. rounded out the top five.

Gordon has now raced his way into the Chase, locking up a postseason spot with tonight's win.

Next week the circuit goes to Charlotte for the All-Star Race on Saturday night.
