JesseFest 2013: Recap

Brandon Adams @ JesseFest 2013JesseFest 2013 was billed as the coming together of big league West Texas blues from the past and the present. I’m proud to report that it was truly a perfect way to spend a Saturday night right here in the Hub City.Tornado Gallery and the Lubbock community came together to proudly pay tribute to one of Lubbock’s favorite sons, Jesse ‘Guitar’ Taylor.

Great performances from Paul Bullock, Rev. Al and the Pythons, Wade Parks Band, Brandon Adams and the Sad Bastards, The Texas Belairs with guests Ponty Bone and RC Banks; Artwork from Joseph Garnett and a SRO crowd made JesseFest 2013 a hellacious success.

Here’s to all that made it out for a first-class night of West Texas blues .
