The #48 team may've taken home the checkered flag on Sunday, but the victory was the 76th in Jimmie Johnson's top-tier career, tying the late legend Dale Earnhardt.

The always fast, widely-loved (and hated) Johnson, who personally said that "there's been a big void" present in his mind because he never had the chance to race against the sport's penultimate hero, has built a career unparalleled by even some of the greatest to race. Sunday he took another chunk out of the history books for himself, and undoubtedly will acquire more given the time.

Meanwhile, the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 also featured great finishes by Dale Earnhardt Jr., who finished in the runner-up spot, the brothers Busch, as Kyle finished third and Kurt fourth, as well as Carl Edwards, who rounded out the top five and might be a safe bet for this year's points race.

Next week, the drivers will go gambling in Vegas.
