Jimmie Johnson Seizes Victory In California

Kevin Harvick did some serious damage most of the day, leading 142 of 205 laps, but the #48 team did some regrouping and were able to attain the lead and keep it for 25 laps and the win.

Kevin Harvick, however, would salvage a runner-up result, while red-hot Denny Hamlin placed another top five by logging a third place finish. Joey Logano finished in fourth and a rare top five for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. happened, as the #17 car collected fifth.

Next week, the circuit gets the weekend off in recognition of Easter but after that it's on to Martinsville.
