The 55th running ended with Jimmie "Five Time" Johnson winning his 400th start with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. taking second, and Mark Martin finishing in third.

Another headline was the pole sitter, Danica Patrick, taking 8th, a huge confidence boost and accolade for her.

It was Earnhardt Jr's sixth top five at Daytona, as he got a late push from Mark Martin to take the second spot.

Toyota's had a rough day, with both drivetrain and engine problems subduing Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch respectively.

Congrats to Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports and we'll see what happens next weekend in Phoenix.
