Jimmie Johnson Wins Eighth Grandfather Clock

After leading 347 laps throughout the race at the "Paperclip" also known as Martinsville, Jimmie Johnson took the checkered flag over Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon.

In an eerily similar situation as last year's Martinsville shootout, Johnson didn't allow Bowyer to dive to the inside and take out all three Johnson, Bowyer, and Gordon on the last lap; instead, Johnson charged hard, left nothing up to chance and earned his second win of the young season.

It was Gordon's best finish of the year, as he was also in contention to win his eighth at the track.
