Johnson has said many times that Dover seems to always be the track he has the most fun on. Well, Sunday was no different for the #48 team, as the five-time champ took a big step in the right direction for a sixth.

Still, even with the win, Matt Kenseth holds the points lead after finishing seventh.

Johnson held off Dale Earnhardt Jr., who also needed a big day to gain some serious Chase ground. Little E is now 10th in the standings heading to the fourth race. Joey Logano finished third and didn't improve his Chase stock, stuck in neutral in 12th. Jeff Gordon moved up to fifth after a fourth place finish, and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five to stay in third for the Championship.

Next week, we have the clean four corners of Kansas.
